We're looking for volunteers - want to join us?

Come Volunteer With Us!

Hi everyone and happy 2022 from all of us at the Bike Collective.

You'll be receiving an update from us soon, but in the meantime we wanted to put out a call for volunteers.

We're currently looking for people who can be mentors for our crew week-to-week and for people who might be available every now and then on weekends to help with events or one off working bees.

I'd love to hear from you if you think this is a possibility.

We fully understand work and life commitments can make this tricky, but if you are interested we'd love to hear from you to discuss further.

Weekly Program Mentors

We have spots for mentors in our weekly programs at the following location and times. We do ask for a minimum 1.5hr commitment during the times given:

1. Huonville:

  • Tuesdays 11am – 4.30pm
  • Wednesday 9am – 3.00pm

2. Risdon Vale:

  • Wednesdays 9am – 4.30pm
  • Fridays 9am – 1pm and 3pm -5pm

Then starting in May 2022 we will also have...

3. Clarence Plains:

  • Tuesdays 9am – 4.30pm

Weekend Volunteering

Otherwise, if you're interested in weekend volunteering, some of the opportunities coming up are:

1. April - Sat 9th and Sun 10th:

2. Mid Year:

  • Saturday working bees to work on a fleet of ex-hire mountain bikes, getting them ready to sell.

3. Dates TBA:

  • Events to promote the work of the Bike Collective and sell merchandise.

YES - I WANT TO VOLUNTEER!

We'd love to hear from you or anyone you know who may be interested. Feel free to forward this to anyone you think might be keen!

Thanks

Ant
